The requirement of this project is the off-site fit out of multiple Generator & Control Room prefabricated enclosures to our customers specifications in order to facilitate seamless onsite installation, commissioning and completion of the project.
The works are carried out in a systematic manner, coordinating with other trades and a tight schedule in order to meet strict deadlines and a very high standard of workmanship.
The requirement of this project was to assist our customer design team with our extensive experience and knowledge base to develop a design that they had not previously accomplished. When the design was completed our task was to complete the Off-Site in Melbourne and Onsite in Sydney installation works to the Double arm Bitumen Delivery Gantry.
This installation works consisted with mainly all Steel Wire Armour and Intrinsically Safe cables for use in Hazardous environments classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2
The requirement of this project was to inspect the existing installation and formulate a turnkey solution to upgrade the designated plant to comply with current legislation while the facility remained in full production and preserving the protocols required to operate in a food preparation environment.
This installation works consisted with mainly all Steel Wire Armour and Intrinsically Safe cables for use in Hazardous Dust environments classified as Zone21 and Zone22 and integrating 24Vdc equipment with an existing PLC which operated on a 240Vac system.
Works also included the installation of pneumatic actuators in the classified hazardous areas in lieu of non-compliant electrically operated actuators and valves.
Part of these works included developing a plan to facilitate working at heights over shared trafficable areas requiring the passage of delivery vehicles in order to keep the plant in full production.

The requirement of this small project consisted of the supply and installation of two new distribution boards, the installation of sub-mains cabling and the transfer of circuits from existing distribution boards in the Western Warehouse area at West Footscray, to allow demolition works associated with the Project Delta Enabling Works.
All of the works were required to be carried out while the plant remained in operation with a daily consultation with production staff to minimise the impact on production.
The requirement of this small project consisted of a range of valves and instruments that were be installed on and around a particular process. A new control cabinet was installed by others. The scope of works involved connecting the field instruments back to the control cabinet which involved both electrical and pneumatic works.
All of the works were required to be carried out while the plant remained in operation.
Molec Electrical was the preferred contractor for the Angliss Reserve lighting project.
The project was managed by Maribyrnong Council on behalf of the Footscray Lacrosse Club. The prime contractor was Shadeport Constructions. Being a community based project there was a need for a generous amount of consultation with all parties. The staff at Molec delivered decisive advise that allowed the project to proceed with minimal disruption and quality finish.
Tom Kelly was instrumental to the ultimate success of the project, the quality of work and the timely manner in which all activities were undertaken were second to none. For any organisation looking to appoint a quality electrical contractor, I would highly recommend Molec. You will be treated with respect and professionalism from honest down to earth people who are committed to excellance by Greg Mollison.
Automation of refrigerated outpack area (2 deg.C) - Melbourne, Vic.
Although MOLEC wasn't the lowest quote, our client chose MOLEC over its competition due to MOLEC's demonstration in the past of commitment to get the right job done in the right time.
Our client gave MOLEC a very "basic" verbal brief, specifications of conveyors and machinery and a general layout. From this MOLEC delivered and commissioned a fully automated outpack plant including:
