Hazardous Area Cable Gland Selection

Cable and Cable gland selection for a particular installation are some of the most basic steps in ensuring the integrity of a hazardous area installation and if this task is not carried out accurately the whole installation may be rendered non compliant.

Hazardous Area cable gland and other equipment selection is done in consideration of the environment in which they are to be installed. On this basis of all such conditions, the selection-procedure has been divided into 6 zones.
